| Brass Anchor Fire |
At 7:34 PM on December 23rd 2006, Fairview Firefighters were dispatched to a possible structure fire at the Brass Anchor Resaurant in the town of Hyde Park. First arriving units found a fully involved building, and a 2nd Alarm was transmitted bringing mutual aid from The City of Poughkeepsie, Arlington, and Roosevelt Fire Departments. Approximately 50 Firefighters were on scene. The building suffered extensive damage, and the fire was deemed under control around 11:00 PM.
