On August 30th 2007, firefighters extinguished a car fire in the parking lot at 74 Violet Ave. in the Town of Poughkeepsie. Fairview was dispatched to the fire at 1:28 p.m., and cleared the scene at 2:06 p.m. Fire Chief Tory Gallante said the fire was a result of an electrical short in the engine compartment.
