On December 14th 2010 at 4:49 PM, Fairview was dispatched for a structure fire at 73 Creek Road. Firefighters found smoke showing from a single family home upon arrival. An active fire was found on the second floor. A second alarm was requested at 4:54 PM. Firefighters made a quick attack and contained the fire to the room of origin. Fairview was assisted on scene by the City of Poughkeepsie Fire Department, the Arlington Fire District and the Town of Poughkeepsie Police. Fairview was clear of the scene at 7:46 PM.
