At 9:56 AM on Monday March 14th 2011, Fairview and City of Poughkeepsie Engine 2 were dispatched for a house fire on Styvestandt Drive. On arrival 41-11 found heavy smoke coming from the residence and a second alarm was requested. The second alarm brought additional Fairview equipment and personnel, Arlington with an engine, Mobile Life Support Services with an ALS ambulance and relocated a Roosevelt engine to cover Fairview’s district. The fire was brought under control in less than 20 minutes. The Town of Poughkeepsie Police, Central Hudson, Town of Poughkeepsie building department and water department also assisted on scene.
